Information Technology Services (ITS Help Desk)
The UH ITS Help Desk serves all 10 UH campuses and is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year (including holidays). They provide technical support for Laulima, Google@UH, Email, and MyUH. Contact them for:

  • all questions or requests for technical support for Laulima, Google@UH, Email, MyUH, Adobe Acrobat DC, and other university-supported software

Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, & Technology (CELTT)

Your Instructional Design Support Team

Instructional Designs (IDs) are members of the Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Technology (CELTT) team. They: 

  • provide support for planning instruction (e.g., outcomes alignment, technology resources, accessibility considerations, assessment, etc.) across any modality of instruction
  • identify, support, and align appropriate technologies for teaching and learning
  • develop resources and facilitate professional development for technology integration for instruction or workflow and other topics relevant to instructional design
Jamie Sickel.

Dr. Jamie Sickel

Jamie is an assistant professor. She has a background in education, visual communications, and instructional design. Jamie has previously served as the blended learning advisor for the School of Education at Western Sydney University, a program coordinator and teacher educator for the College of Education at Ohio University, an East Asia and Pacific Institute NSF fellow, and a K-12 teacher in Ohio and Florida. She is passionate about digital design and fostering engaging online learning communities.

Youxin Zhang.

Dr. Youxin Zhang

Youxin has an educational background in Learning Design and Technology and practical experience working closely with different subject matter experts at higher education level in the areas including but not limited to digital accessibility, professional development, instructional design and implementation, assessment and evaluation, data analysis and visualization, educational technology, and communication.
